ROBOTICS / PLC PROGRAMMER
PLC stands for ‘Programmable Logic Controller’, or a programmable logic control. PLCs are used to automate machines and processes, such as fences, conveyor belts and signalling.

In many cases, it is easier, faster and safer to use a robot instead of human actions. This often involves a safety PLC (failsafe PLC), which immediately achieves a high level of safety.

Is there no robot? Then the PLC controls the entire machine or process, often in combination with an HMI, with which the operator can operate the machine.
METHODOLOGY
As a PLC programmer, I determine the architecture and software design. Then I test the PLC code (virtually) and after a successful test the machine is put into operation.

My work does not stop there. I regularly perform checks and am available in the event of malfunctions. Making sure that machines continue to function, that is my job.
